It wasn't long until Sealy had once again found himself to be bored with whatever it was he was doing. His long legs folded under him and he attempted to stand with a stretch. However, something in his back popped and he groaned. Living in the subway literally gave him a crick in the back. He stretched his arms out in front of him and did some bending excersises before going to find their leader. It was about time for one of his re-con expeditions.

Sealy ran a hand through his hair, looking around at the destruction that was left of the tunnel that had been yet another one of their temporary homes. A solemn sigh escaped his lips and he looked over his shoulder at the woman who had accompanied him on the mission. "I hope the rest of them got away.." he muttered, lifting a piece of the rubble and throwing it aside. There weren't many survivors yet, and it was tragic to think they were the among the even fewer remaining.

"Maybe they went further down the tunnel, you know?" He asked without expecting a response. Before letter her actually reply, he was already hopping down chunks of concrete into the underground subway tunnels. This definitely was not a good thing. And he could have Wandered, but he felt leaving Leah alone with his unconscious body may have been awkward.

distant and calm will now be an unpredictable and flaky half spazz (bi-polar?)! The story is that she's a bit wonky after all she's been through. Especially with her daughter's death and all.

The dust caused by the collapse got into Lane's nostrils. The stinging scent of dirt made her wrinkle her nose. With an aloof look in her eyes she observed Sealy's little exploration journey to the pile of rubble and what not. It didn't look all that interesting. She already knew they would have to head different way, so she turned and just listened to him talk.

"Maybe. Or maybe they...you know, got crushed under the rubble. Maybe they are dead. Or barely alive and in enormous pain. Maybe they feel like they were being tortured and they will suffer for hours even days till death is gracious enough to pick them up with his little death excavator." She kicked a random block of cement out of her way. She was nervous being underground, in a tunnel where the only familiar passageway was now blocked. She was born to be up in the skies. She was born to look at the vast sky and be free. Here, in the tunnel, she was trapped, like in a cage. There was no fresh air, just something that smelled like mold and dirt, something...burnt, electricity, gas. What ever it was, it was not a pleasant combination Pathetic excuse for air...

She pushed back her blond hair. It was filthy. Lane would have loved a shower every now and then. She lit her way with her flashlight, though it didn't help much. "Whadda ya think? Which way should we go? Sewer pipes?" she pointed the flashlight to a conjunction that turned away from the main tunnel. "Or the main tunnel?" She pointed the light back to the direction she was facing. "Which one will get us killed later rather than sooner?" She almost laughed when she said this. She didn't really know why her tone came out way too happy, but, she couldn't help it.

CLUNK!

Lane flinched as she heard the metallic sound. Were the machines here? Her heart rate skyrocketed. Quickly, she turned to look at Sealy. "What was that?! Was that you?" She lowered her voice to a whisper, already annoyed just in case it was him spooking her.
