Responsibilities of Staff Who's the staff member you'd most recommend to approach with any problems? I know that you're not all meant to be intimidating, but... Who's the best one? ( Question provided anonymously through our FormSpring. ) This is a tough question, because, I believe that contacting any one of the fine staff members would be effective for most issues. However, there are definitely staff members that have the authority of certain aspects of the forum, so it would be better to cut to the chase, as it were, instead of just catching whichever staff member was currently on the cbox.
Board moderators: (Artemis, Dakhath, Daemon, Archie, and Josh) These staff members responsibilities include archiving old/inactive threads, moving topics to the appropriate forum/subforum, and updating the "lists" in the Plot forum. Have a question as to the appropriate place where to post your roleplay? Board moderators are in charge of keeping all of the roleplays in order, and even to maintain which roleplays should have mature labels.
Sub-responsibilities of the board moderators include:
-Dak is responsible for moderation of the discussion forums.
-Daemon is responsible for writing challenges.
-Artemis is responsible for roleplaying challenges. (Have a suggestion for writing/roleplaying challenges, let them know!)
-Josh is responsible for organizing the VT Observer.
General moderators: (Taph, Stace, and Shadow) Global moderators are in charge of...well, all of the forums, as their title states. Taph is in charge of the Graphics portion of the Creativity Center, while Stace heads up the Writing portion. Shadow is our main advertising moderator, though he and Dak are also enlisted with member issues. If you have any questions about critiquing (within the Creativity Center) those questions should be inquired of Taph or Stace (graphics or writing respectively).
Admin: Me! Contacting Spotty or Crazy, is most effective for any technical issue of the forum. If there is a spam post, we have the ability to delete the thread, the spam bot, and ban. Is a link broken within one of the subforums? Something funky on the sidebar? Let us know. Member issues, between other members or staff, should be fielded to the admin as well. Anything that doesn't fall under the above staff members' responsibilities should be directed to us as well.
